D. Colby Orton is an associate in the Detroit (Metro) office. His practice focuses on employment litigation in all areas of labor and employment law.
Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Colby worked as an associate attorney on data privacy incident response and litigation matters and labor and employment matters.
Colby is a native Detroiter and received his J.D from the University of Michigan Law School where he was a Dean’s Scholar. During his time in law school, Colby worked as a student attorney in the Child Advocacy Law Clinic and the Michigan Innocence Clinic.
